A CRUISE ON THE MAJESTIC SYMPHONY OF THE SEAS - WHEN SIZE MATTERS
The Symphony of the Seas of Royal Caribbean is a magnificent cruise ship built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique in 2018, the fourth in the Oasis Class, following the Oasis, Allure, and Harmony of the Seas. With a GRT of 228,081 and a maximum double occupancy of 5,518 passengers, the Symphony of the Seas is one of the world's largest cruise ships, boasting an incredible range of onboard amenities and venues.
During my family vacation on board, I was impressed by the Symphony of the Seas' features related to partial and total charters. The ship is ideal for customized events, including presentations, seminars, and workshops.
PLENTY OF ENTERTAINMENT AND DINING OPTIONS
There are plenty of options and activities on the ship which is a destination itself. Due the ultra-large size, there are several venues on the Symphony of the Seas which could be also used for any event . There are a variety of dining options to choose from, including the casual Windjammer buffet and specialty restaurants such as Hooked Seafood, Izumi (Asian), Chops Grill, Jamie’s Italian, Johnny Rockets, Wonderland, and the Vintages Wine Bar, among others.
I enjoyed a Grand Suite with my family, which featured two rooms, a living room, two bathrooms, and a large balcony, giving us access to the Suite Lounge and Coastal Kitchen Restaurant on deck 17 for all our meals, drinks, and happy hours, plus the reserved sun deck (17) with a private bar and complimentary drinks. The Coastal Kitchen exceeded my expectations with a Mediterranean-oriented menu that changed every day and included vegetarian and vegan options.
The Symphony of the Seas' entertainment options were outstanding, with something for everyone, including the memorable HIRO aqua show. The nightlife was lively, with several bands and venues on board. The Jazz on 4 lounge was a particular highlight for me as a jazz lover.
Amongst the Symphony of the Seas' unique features is the "Central Park" neighborhood, with over 20,700 lush tropical plants providing a quiet space to relax during the day and a beautiful dinner venue or shopping destination for luxury brands such as Bulgari and Cartier at night. The solarium area, which is for adults only, is another lovely retreat for relaxation or work, with a patio and adjacent Solarium buffet.
SUITABLE FOR ANY CHARTER AND EVENT
The Symphony of the Seas is also an incredible cruise ship for full charters, such as well-themed events. Sharing a majestic ship like the Symphony of the Seas with like-minded individuals could be a one-of-a-kind experience. I recommend the ship for partial groups as well as full charters, as there are a multitude of venues for presentations, seminars, workshops, and team-building activities.
CHARTER POSSIBILITIES IN THE MEDITERRANEAN AND THE CARIBBEANS
Currently performing weekly western Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona, the Symphony of the Seas will move to Fort Lauderdale in November for 6-day Western Caribbean and 8-day Southern Caribbean cruises.
The Symphony of the Seas is an exceptional cruise ship that offers an incredible range of amenities and venues, making it an ideal option for partial or full cruise charters. The ship's size and features provide a unique experience that can be customized for events of all kinds, and the quality of service and friendliness of the crew go above and beyond expectations. I had a fantastic time on board the Symphony of the Seas and highly recommend it to anyone.
